INP

LAHORE – An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday termed the petition seeking trial of Kasur child abuse case in military court hearable.

Admitting the petition for hearing, the court summoned response from the government in one week.

Earlier, the ATC clauses had been added to the Kasur child molestation case. The ATC had remanded the accused - Ubaid, Atiq, Wasim, Yahya and Tanzilur Rehman - into custody for 28 days after they were arraigned. The court had reserved the verdict on the petition to try the case in the military court.

- Four new cases -

At least four more complainants have turned up to register their cases in Ganda Singh Wala Police Station. Ashraf, Muhammad Yar, Tahir and Nadeem have submitted the complaints and said that they were molested on gunpoint while being filmed. More survivors are expected to turn up and register the cases.
