PPP, JUI-F to contest elections 2018 together

KARACHI - Pakistan People’s Party and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F on Friday decided to contest the local government and general elections 2018 with electoral unity through seat adjustment in Sindh.JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman confirmed his party’s alliance with the PPP. JUI-F General Secretary Rashid Mehmood Soomro held meeting with Fazl and briefed him about talks with the PPP in Sindh.
Sources said that the JUI-F would dispatch conditions of alliance to Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah today. Committees formed in this regard would hold meeting on August 31, which will be led by Qaim and Soomro.
