Gen Sharif visits CMH Sialkot, directs best possible assistance to injured

SIALKOT – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has said that India was committing a highly unethical and cowardly act by targeting civilians at the Working Boundary.

The army chief made these remarks during his visit to the Combined Military Hospital, Sialkot. He inquired about the health of the injured civilians and directed the authorities concerned to ensure best possible treatment.

At least eight people – including one woman and a child – were killed and 47 others – 24 women and 11 children – injured when the India’s Border Security Force resorted to indiscriminate shelling along the Working Boundary.
