Cricket will strengthen under Imran’s PM-ship: Sarfaraz
KARACHI: National cricket team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed on Monday said that ex-captain and PTI chief Imran Khan will further strengthen the game of cricket as the prime minister of the country.
Speaking to the media, the skipper said Imran Khan becoming the country’s PM is a positive change and that during the 1992 world cup winning captain’s spell as the PM, improvements will be seen in cricket.
He also backed Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) decision to restrict Pakistani players from participating in foreign leagues saying that “playing too much affects fitness and wears one out.”
