Imran to visit Iran on Rouhani’s invitation
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has accepted Iran President Hassan Rouhani’s invitation to visit Iran.
Rouhani telephoned Imran on Wednesday and invited him to pay a visit to Iran, which Khan accepted. The two also discussed Pak-Iran relations and vowed to strengthen ties between the two neighboring countries.
The Iranian president said that both Pakistan and Iran are not only neighbours, they share deep-rooted religious and cultural bonds too.
Khan said that Pakistan aims to strengthen trade as well as diplomatic relations with Iran and that the two countries must work together to guarantee peace and stability in the region.
