Same group invovled in three Karachi blasts
KARACHI: As investigations continue into the Karachi blast, police officials have revealed that the explosions in Safura Chaowrangi, Kalla Pul and Lines Area were planned by the same group, Geo News reported.
According to officials, IED unidirectional bombs were used in all three explosions. These explosives are the same ones which have been used in blasts’ in Afghanistan.
The blast at Safura Chaowrangi took place at 7:14 am on Friday morning and targeted a Rangers vehicle which had arrived for duty fifteen minutes earlier.
Police officials said the explosive was detonated by remote control.
Funeral prayers were held for the three Rangers killed in the blast.
