Khar urges for better relationship with key countries

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Tuesday said that the foreign policy would be finalized after the Parliament would give mandate over it, Geo News reported.

Khar was talking to media outside the Parliament building and said the foreign policy was being reviewed in the ongoing Envoys’ Conference here.

She said the government does not want to spoil its relationship with any key country nor intend to wage war.

FM Khar added that the envoys’ recommendations would be taken to Parliament and the Defence Committee for deliberation.

While answering questions about the Nato attack, Khar said Pakistan is still maintaining diplomatic relationship with the US, however, the suspended Nato supply can not be resumed by the foreign ministry alone until the process of internal review is not completed.
