Nisar says agreement to hand over Shamsi air base to the US be presented in Parliament
ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in National Assembly Chaudhry Thursday said Prime Minister had no right to barter away the country's sovereignty, demanding of him to seek apology from Parliament, Geo News reported.
Speaking on the floor of the Nation Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar said that Condoleezza Rice in her book claimed that Prime Minister was lying on Mumbai attacks.
"We want an answer from the Prime Minister," he said.
He demanded that the agreement on handing over Shamsi airbase to the US be presented before the Parliament.
"If the airbase was handed over without any agreement then it is an ever bigger sin," he argued.
Speaking on the matter of President Asif Ali Zardari's health, he said the factual situation should be brought to light.
