Half of population can't get justice: CJ LHC


LAHORE: Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Shaikh Azmat Saeed says Justice is out of half of Pakistan’s population ‘s reach, Geo News reported.

Talking at the Clinical Legal Education Conference he stressed that masses need to be educated on their basic rights.

“Constitution safeguards people’s socioeconomic rights. Judiciary and legislature must work together to ensure it,” said LHC chief justice.

Legal education also needs to be improved, he added.

The conference was organized by Pakistan Bar Council.
