PTI will create Hazara province after coming into power: Imran

* PTI chief urges people to not to vote for those having property, accounts abroad

* Qureshi says rulers have failed to deliver, demands PM’s resignation

ABBOTTABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Thursday said that Hazara would be made a province along with others after coming to power.

Addressing a public meeting near Haripur, he announced his heartfelt condolences with the families of those who laid their lives for the cause of Hazara province. He said that sacrifices of Shuhada-e-Hazara province movement would not be allowed to waste at any cost. He said there were over 40 provinces in various countries where people had high standard of living.

Imran promised that he would give a new concept of Pakistan in a meeting to be held in Karachi on December 25.

On the occasion, Raja Shadab Khan, former district nazim Yousaf Ayub Khan, former MPA Faisal Zaman and dozens of other former union councils nazims joined the PTI. He said Pakistan was rich in resources and it only needed an honest and sincere leadership, adding that the masses should not vote for those who had made their property and bank accounts abroad.

Imran said the new Pakistan programme would aim at bringing prosperity, jobs for the youth and attracting investment in the country. He said on coming to power, PTI would bring an end to extravaganza of the rulers, everyone would be brought to the tax net and eliminate corruption.

He pointed out that the present price hike and electricity crisis were the result of corruption and theft.The PTI chief declared that the party’s parliamentary board would decide about candidates to contest elections and ticket would not be awarded to any corrupt person.

Speaking on the occasion, former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi referred to Prime Minister Gilani’s address in the Senate on Wednesday in which he pointed out links between a sitting member of parliament and Mansoor Ijaz, and challenged him to name the member if he had the courage. He said that the rulers must accept their failure and the prime minister should resign. He said that today’s huge gathering was a testimony to prove that the people of Hazara were keenly interested in a political change in the country and the PTI would prove to be a symbol of revolutionary changes in the country.

Qureshi said that the people were facing various problems due to unemployment and extreme price hike, adding that rigging, horse trading or unfair means in coming general elections would not be tolerated at any cost.
