MQM to shake up Punjab’s politics: Sattar

MULTAN: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita Committee’s Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar has said that his was the most organized political party of South Punjab, Geo News reported.

He was talking to media at Multan Press Club.

During the press conference he said that MQM aims at bringing the oppressed fractures of society in the legislature.

He added that their Dec 23 public gathering in Multan would be historic.

Sattar said masses were sick and tired of too much of political rhetoric, adding they wanted a decisive change, which it would be really hard for anyone to bring about without organizing the people at large.

MQM would pioneer that change, said Sattar adding, any attempts to sabotage our endeavours would incur another long march to Islamabad.

To a query Sattar said, no one would be able to stop us from revolutionizing the system in the wake of our majority in the National Assembly.
