BB’s murder investigation completed: PM

GARHI KHUDA BAKSH: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday said, investigation into the case of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s assassination was almost complete and its details would be revealed in due course of time. He said the matter was sub judice and he could not further comment on it.” I don’t want the inquiry to be affected in any manner,” he said, adding that her martyrdom was an international tragedy.

In a brief interaction with journalists, Gilani said the decision to share details of any aspect of the interrogation could only be made by Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the party.

PM said there existed no possibility of clash among the state institutions provided they all worked within the ambit of the Constitution. Gilani said he had already dispelled the notion of de-notifying General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani and DG ISI General Shuja Pasha.

When asked about those joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), he termed those as “weak-hearted” who had left the PPP, and said it was good as such people could damage the party at the time of election.
