AG tells the court 2 out of 35 missing persons died
ISLAMABAD: The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry Monday during the hearing of the missing persons case observed that the death of person/persons under custody of the agency was murder, Geo News reported.
Earlier, Attorney General appearing in the apex court stated that the 2 out of 35 missing persons have died by now.
Chief Justices in his remarks said that the death under custody of the agency was murder and ordered that the remaining 33 persons in captivity of the army be presented in the court today.
A four-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by the Chief Justice is hearing the missing persons case here.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif told the apex court that the government was formulating laws regarding the missing persons.
