President, PM felicitate UAE on National DayISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have felicitated the people and leadership of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 42nd National Day of UAE being celebrated today (Monday). According to a press release, both the prime minister and president sent separate messages to Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE, and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, president of the UAE. In his message, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif lauded close, cordial and cooperative relationship between Pakistan and UAE in all fields. He said that bilateral cooperation has witnessed significant progress and diversification over the last many years. The prime minister expressed his confidence that relationship between the two brotherly countries would further strengthen and consolidate to the mutual benefit of both countries in the years ahead. In his message, President Mamnoon Hussain conveyed “warmest felicitations” on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan to the UAE on its National Day. President Mamnoon referred to the exemplary bonds of friendship between both countries based on firm and eternal foundation of common faith, values and brotherhood. He expressed confidence that these cordial bilateral ties would continue to grow in the years ahead under the leadership of Sheikh Khalifa. The prime minister and president also conveyed wishes for the good health and happiness of the UAE leadership and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of the UAE. app
