PTI stages sit-in near parliament against US drone attacks
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Thursday staged a sit-in near the parliament house against the US drone attacks in country’s northwestern tribal belt.
PTI central leadership including chairman Imran Khan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak were also present on the occasion.
The sit-in was held at Islamabad’s D-Chowk from where the participants proceeded to the National Assembly.
The PTI submitted a memorandum to the National Assembly, demanding an end to US aerial attacks.
