ECP delays LG polls schedule for Punjab, Sindh

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan has decided to delay the issuance of schedule for local bodies elections in Sindh and Punjab for the second time, sources said Friday. The electoral body has asked the Punjab and Sindh governments to fulfil the legal requirements for the elections by December 6. However, Sindh and Punjab have sought three and seven days more, respectively. Sources said that the election commission is expected to issue the schedule on December 9. inp
