AMDC nominates Raja Khanzada as its media consultant

WASHINGTON: Democratic Party affiliated group American Muslim Democratic Caucus has nominated an acclaimed journalist Raja Zahid Akhtar Khanzada as its media consultant.

Mr. Raja Khanzada will be responsible for media contact, media relations and press releases from the group. AMDC Co-Chairs Syed Fayyaz Hassan from Arlington and Sarwat Hussain from San Antonio Texas welcomed the professional services of Raja Khanzada and wished him success in this role.

They said that AMDC will benefit immensely from the in-depth knowledge and vast experience of Mr. Khanzada in the field of journalism and public relations.

Raja Khanzada, who migrated to US in early 2000s and became US citizen in 2005, has been a supporter of Muslim's participation in Democratic process and with Democratic Party.

Mr. Khanzada is a professional journalist and is affiliated with major news networks in Texas and reports for the top news media conglomerate in Pakistan.

He holds three Master's degrees from Jamshoroo Pakistan, in Business Administration, Sociology and Political Science. He also has a degree in Homeopathic medical sciences and holds certification from American Alternative Medicine Practitioner Board in practice of alternative medicine.

Mr. Khanzada attended Master's in Social Work program at University of Texas in Arlington. He is in journalism profession since 1980s. He was affiliated with major national and local news outlets in Pakistan. He had worked for Pakistan International Airlines for fifteen years. At the onset of General Pervez Musharraf Martial Law, he resigned from PIA and migrated to US. Mr. Khanzada's family includes his wife Dr. Nasreen Khanzada and three children.

Mr. Khanzada is affiliated with the largest Pakistani and South Asian News conglomerate and regularly writes columns and op-eds in three newspapers where his columns are featured every week.

Mr. Khanzada is a prominent member of Texas Muslim community where his activism is also well known.
