PM felicitates Chinese PM on lunar probe launchISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has felicitated Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on the successful launch of Chang’e-3 lunar probe with its first moon rover aboard. In his message to his Chinese counterpart Nawaz said this remarkable scientific success is a manifestation of China’s rising technological prowess. China has launched its first ever extraterrestrial landing craft into orbit en route for the moon, in a major milestone for its space programme. The Chang’e-3 lunar probe, which includes the Yutu or Jade Rabbit buggy, blasted off on board an enhanced Long March-3B carrier rocket from the Xichang satellite launch centre in China’s southwestern Sichuan province at 1.30am local time on Monday. online
