LB poll results sent to Islamabad for notification: Bayazid
QUETTA: Balochistan Election Commissioner (BEC) Syed Sultan Bayazid Friday said that the local bodies poll results after tabulation have been sent to Islamabad for fianl notification, Geo News reported.
Talking to Geo News here, Syed Sultan Bayazid said that the Commission had to face difficulties in obtaining the results from far-flung remote areas in the province that caused some delay in the overall tabulation of poll results.
Balochistan Election Commissioner said that the results of the LB polls held in the 29 districts of the province after tabulation have been sent to Islamabad from where the final notification of the successful candidates would be issued.
He said that LB polls were not held in Awaran and Kech due to the unopposed election of the candidates and in Harnai due to electoral list.
