Sindh govt. decides to arrest all accused released on parole
KARACHI: Sindh government on Saturday decided to arrest all those accused who were released on parole during the Arbab Ghulam Rahim regime, Geo News reported.
The decision was taken in a high-level meeting held here with Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah in the chair.
Later, the spokesman of the chief minister confirmed it has also been decided to shift dangerous imprisoned criminals to jails in other provinces, while if any convict in the prison is caught interacting with anyone outside the jail strict action would be taken against the jail superintendent.
The spokesman further said it has also been decided to set up more anti-terrorism special courts, provide the police modern weapons and more armoured vehicles.
