Shahid Hayyat says crime rate declines in Karachi
KARACHI: Karachi police chief Shahid Hayyat has said that Karachi operation was being carried out without any discrimination, Geo News reported.
Speaking to media here Sunday, the police chief said he had never claimed the crime in Karachi had come to an end, however, its rate has declined.
He said the police personnel, who are performing better in Karachi operation, are being awarded with prizes.
Meanwhile, Karachi police chief revealed that there was progress in the investigation into murder of Maulana Deedar Jalbani.
