COAS visits troops in Sulemanki sector
LAHORE: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Saturday visited troops in Sulemanki Sector. Addressing troops, he said Pakistan Army has rendered supreme sacrifices for defence and stability of the motherland. He appreciated the high morale and operational preparedness of troops and urged the need for continuous training to attain even higher professional standards. Later, the chief of army staff met war veterans and commended their services during various operations. He said that role of both officers and men in defending the territorial frontiers is laudable and worth emulating. The COAS paid rich tributes to the heroic deeds of valour and sacrifices rendered by troops while defending the motherland. Earlier on his arrival at Sulemanki, the COAS was received by Corps Commander Lieutenant General Naveed Zaman. pr
