Karachi Stock Exchange scales yet another peak

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE)Tuesday ended in the green zone with minor gains but still hit a new all-time high.

The benchmark KSE-100 index closed at a new high of 25,350.20 points after rising by 0.21 percent, or 51.88 points.

The cement sector spearheaded the bull-run after manufacturers increased the price, whereas banking sector also remained in the limelight said an analyst.

Among star performers, Bank Alfalah Ltd jumped 3.31 percent to close at Rs27.50, while D.G Khan Cement Co Ltd saw a gain of 2.32 percent to reach at Rs83.24.
