According to the Interior ministry, the policy is based on three parts – one part of which would be kept classified. Nisar Ali Khan said on Sunday that the government had worked out the country’s first three-pronged National Security Policy draft to curb terrorism and maintain law and order. Addressing a press conference at Punjab House, the minister said the policy draft would first be placed before the National Security Committee and then it would be announced after taking approval from the federal cabinet.
