RAWALPINDI: A US delegation headed by Lieutenant General John D Johson, director of Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organisation (JIEDDO), on Tuesday visited General Headquarters to discuss counter-IED efforts. Lieutenant General Johson also called on Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmad, said an ISPR press release. Both sides shared their experiences and discussed ways to defeat the growing menace of IEDs, which is being faced not only by Pakistan and Afghanistan but also by world at large. app
