Rasheed accuses Imran of defying political code of conduct
LAHORE: Federal Minister for Information Pervaiz Rasheed Sunday accused the PTI Chief Imran Khan of defying what he called a political code of conduct and regretted that sit-ins were driving the investors away from Pakistan.
Talking to media persons here, Pervaiz Rasheed stressed that in order to resolve issues the entire nation will have to come together. “The people don’t want the politicians to clash with one another at a time when the country needs political stability,” he added.
He warned that the investors will move away from the country if disturbances were created through sit-ins.
The Information Minister also advised Imran Khan to stage a similar sit-down in Peshawar which also suffers from the menace of price hike.
He said Imran Khan should demonstrate seriousness. “He should come and tell us how to defeat terrorism,” Rasheed added.
It is pertinent to mention here that Imran Khan led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) protest demonstration is in progress today on the main thoroughfares of Lahore against the worst inflation across the country.
