Politicians not exempted from filing tax returns: Rashid
ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister, Pervaiz Rashid Monday said that politicians have no exemption, they should also obtain the national tax number (NTN), Geo News reported.
Talking to Geo News, Pervaiz Rashid said that all those liable to pay tax should obtain NTN and added that members of parliament were no exception. Everyone should abide by the law and if one found violating law, FBR should make him fulfill the obligation.
He said that the politicians must obtain the NTN by paying due tax and added that no one enjoyed immunity for being elected as member parliament.
