Sunday was shortest day of year
ISLAMABAD: Sunday (December 22) was the shortest day of the year. The duration of day in southern Punjab was 11 hours and 20 minutes.Similarly, the night of Sunday was the longest one of the year with duration of 12 hours and 40 minutes. From now on, length of days would increase while that of nights would decrease. The duration of day and night would be equal on March 21 and 22 next year.
