JI felicitates Christian community
KARACHI: A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Minority Wing visited different churches and felicitated Christians on Christmas. The delegation also presented cakes and bouquets to the priests. The delegation led by President Jamaat-e-Islami Minority Wing Advocate Younus Sohan met with the Bishop Joseph Cords of Catholic Church, Bishop Sadiq Daniel of Church of Pakistan and Bishop Samuels of Philadelphia Church of Pakistan. On the occasion, the delegation gave a message from JI Karachi Chief, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman to the priests: “Hazrat Essa is a messenger of God and Islam gives lessen to respect all religions.”
