Imran seeks transfer of electricity control to KP govt

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan has once again asked the federal government to hand over the control of electricity to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

Talking to media after inaugurating the Right To Information office here on Thursday, Imran Khan said his provincial government would put an end to power theft after getting control of the power supply.

Over drone attack issue, the PTI chief reaffirmed his party's resolve to continue protest against US drone strikes till their end.

“Peace in Pakistan cannot be attained till the complete halt of drone attacks.”

He said PTI is working on a policy of zero-tolerance towards corruption‚ inefficiency and VIP culture.

The PTI Chairman accused the federal government for the ongoing inflation and price hike in the country.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak‚ provincial Ministers and Party office bearers were also present on the occasion.
