Pakistan, India agree to act against smuggling

LAHORE: The bi-annual five-day meeting between heads of Pakistan Rangers and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) continued on the third consecutive day in Lahore on Thursday. Punjab Rangers Director General Maj General Tahir Javed Khan represented Pakistani side while Sobash Joshi headed the BSF delegation. The two sides agreed to take measures to prevent smuggling. They also agreed to use hotline contact to avert any untoward incident along the border.
