Objections to nomination forms in Punjab can be filed Sunday
LAHORE: Objections to the nomination papers for Local Government Elections in Punjab can be filed tomorrow as the six-day process of submitting the nomination papers has completed.
According to schedule‚ scrutiny of the nomination papers would take place from December 30 to January 4.
Appeals against acceptance or rejection of nomination papers would be filed on January 6 and 7, which will be disposed of from 8th to 11th of next month.
Nomination papers can be withdrawn by January 12 and the list of contesting candidates with symbols would be published on January 13.
Polling for Local Government Elections in the province will be held on January 30.
