KARACHI: MPAs from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement have condemned low gas pressure problem faced by consumers in Karachi, Hyderabad and other parts of the country.
They said domestic gas consumers were facing a stressful challenge to perform their basic tasks.
“People are already facing problems of power shortage, disruption in water supply, unemployment and other basic problems. And now the problem of low gas pressure or no gas supply has added to their miseries,” said the statement issued on Friday.
The statement added, “Low gas pressure problem has affected all aspects of life in the city. It has especially affected the daily routine of housewives. It has disturbed the budget of families because they are using wood, coal and kerosene oil. The situation has pushed us half century back.”
