Punjab LG polls challenged in LHCLAHORE: Punjab local government (LG) elections were challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday.
The petitioner has made a plea that LG elections should be put on hold until the decision on the delimitation issue. Advocate Azhar Siddique, the petitioner, took the stance that holding LG elections before the decision on delimitation issue would be unconstitutional and in contravention of the basic human rights.
