Protest to continue till opening of all routes: Alvi
KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Dr Arif Alvi said that a road adjacent to Bilawal house has been opened, adding that the struggle would continue till the opening of another route.
Talking to media during the protest demonstration against the wall surrounding Bilawal House, Alvi said that the protest would continue till reopening of another road adjacent to Bilawal House.
He said that the court issued a verdict, ordering to open the blocked roads outside Bilawal House, however, he added that the PPP’s provincial government failed to implement the verdict.
Alvi further said that he had promised with the people of his constituency that he would have the barriers removed after being elected in the general elections.
“I do not want any clash between the activists of PTI and PPP.”
He alleged that PPP workers beat his party workers during the peaceful protest. The PTI workers were also arrested, he added.
