Consensus developed on names for new MQM Co-ordination Committee
KARACHI: A joint meeting of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Co-ordination Committee was held in Pakistan and London simultaneously to discuss names for the Co-ordination Committee.
The meeting was chaired by In-charge Co-ordination Committee in Pakistan Qamar Mansoor and In-charge of the Co-ordination Committee in London Arshad Hussain.
The meeting developed consensus on nine names of the committee after prolonged discussions.
The names include Kahfilwara, Arif Khan Advocate, Gulfaraz Khan Khattak, Imbisat Malik, Dr Salim Danish, Dr Ayub Shaikh, Qasim Ali Raza, Mustafa Azizabadi and Izhar Ahmed Khan.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has given his consent for the names selected by the Pakistan and London Co-ordination Committee.
