President asks new CEC to introduce electoral reforms to enhance credibility of ECP

ISLAMABAD - President Mamnoon Hussain has said that in the present political scenario of Pakistan, the entire nation is looking toward the new Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) to resolve various election related issues and introduce electoral reforms to further enhance the credibility of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
The president was talking to the CEC of Pakistan Justice (retired) Sardar Muhammad Raza who called on him at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday. The president felicitated Justice (retired) Sardar Muhammad Raza on taking up the charge of a very important and challenging position of the CEC of Pakistan. The president expressed hope that the new CEC would run the affairs of the election commission diligently, efficiently and effectively as per his past record.
