Bold measures required to end terrorism: Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has said that we are facing an unusual situation and if strong measures are not taken it would be unacceptable for the nation.

Addressing a session of the national parliamentary leaders, the PM was pleased with the fact that all leaders were on the same page concerning the Peshawar carnage.

He said the way children were targeted in Peshawar, it was unprecedented in the history of mankind.

The PM further said that terrorism was a disease and history would be unforgiving if right measures were not taken to counter it.


Prime Minister Sharif said the nation was looking up to them to make necessary decisions no matter how difficult, to rid the country of this menace once and for all.

Appreciating everyone for there assurances to cooperate in solving these problems, he said that bold steps need to be taken against people who are trying to destabilize and weaken the roots of Pakistan.

Finally he welcomed all the participants and applauded the responsibility showed party leaders.
