Non-bailable arrest warrant issued for Maulana Abdul Aziz
ISLAMABAD: A non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued for Lal Masjid cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz by a civil judge here on Friday.
SHO of Aabpara police station, Khalid Awan told Geo News that the non-bailable arrest warrant for Maulana Aziz had been received.
Two days ago FIR No. 569 had been lodged in the Aabpara police station against Maulana Aziz for threatening members of civil society.
Members of civil society had been protesting outside the Lal Masjid against Maulana Abdul Aziz for his unwillingness to condemn the brutal attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar.
Aziz in a statement given to a TV channel said he could not condemn a single incident.
