‘Followers of One Allah, Prophet and Quran divided today’
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has regretted that followers of One Allah Almighty, Prophet (P.B.U.H) and the Holy Quran are divided today, Geo News reported.
In his telephonic address to Ulema Mashaikh gathering here Tuesday, Altaf Hussain said Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) always gave message of peace. He said those targeting worship places, mosques, markets and military installations could not be Muslims.
Calling Taliban as “Zaliman’, Altaf Hussain said it should be decided today whether Taliban be called Taliban, adding that they should be openly opposed. He said voice could be raised against the killers (Taliban) of innocent children.
He also demanded for inquiry into timber market blaze, saying that it should be investigated whether the fire erupted automatically or it was ignited.
