INP
PESHAWAR – Action Forum, an alliance of different non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Peshawar, has launched protest demonstrations to express solidarity with the victims of terrorist attack on the Army Public School and College.
Activist of the Action Forum have blocked University Road, Saddar Bazaar and Fridous Chowk for all kinds of traffic since early morning. The protesters are demanding the government to ensure security of the people and bring the culprits of the Army Public School carnage to justice.
Commuters are facing immense hardships in reaching their destinations due to blockage of the roads. Several activists, including women, have been arrested on charges of scuffling with the police. At least 151 people, including 134 students, were killed in the terrorist attack on the Army Public School on December 16.
