Polling for LB elections underway peacefully, claims Karachi Police Chief
KARACHI: Karachi Police Chief Mushtaq Mahar has claimed that polling for Local Bodies (LB) elections in all the six districts of the metropolis was underway in a peaceful environment.
Talking to Geo News, Mushtaq Mahar said police were vigilant to maintain law and order situation in the port city, adding no untoward incident has occurred during polling in Karachi.
The Karachi Police Chief said polling started with a delay at some polling stations due to late arrival of the polling staff in various areas.
