Corrupts to face accountability in KP: Imran Khan

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan on Sunday said anyone in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa found involved in corruption will have to face accountability.

Addressing a program to mark Islamia College’s 50 years here, Imran Khan said his government in KP will not step back from its agenda to bring reforms in education and health sectors.

“Only those who dream big would stand out as great human beings,” he said, adding, it is not a big achievement to amass great wealth but a real test for an individual to stand tall is to spend that wealth for welfare of human beings.

He stressed upon the youth never to have a self-centered mindset. “Self-conceited people cause damage to the nation and country,” he added.

Speaking on the virtues of education, he said one can face a time of trial only through equipping oneself with the weapon of education.

He said the KP government has committed itself to planting one billion trees by 2018. Global warming, he added, can only be tackled through tree-plantation.

Condemning the bombing of Parachanar market on Sunday, he said the entire nation stands together against the menace of terrorism.
