Rangers’ special powers restored peace in Karachi, says Corps Commander
KARACHI – Karachi Corps Commander Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar on Friday said that peace in the city was made possible after assigning special powers to Rangers.
During his visit to Rangers Headquarters, he lauded the role of officers taking part in Karachi operation. He said that Rangers’ role against terrorism serves as a backbone for Pakistan. He said that uncertain conditions reinforce criminal elements.
He also assured that Pakistan Rangers would keep on playing an effective role to protect the nation from terrorism. On the occasion, the officers of Karachi operation gave detailed briefing of Karachi operation to corps commander.
