CM orders foolproof security on Eid Milad (PBUH), Christmas
APPLAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed Cabinet Committee on Law and Order to make foolproof security arrangements on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and Christmas and necessary measures should be taken for the protection of life and property of the citizens.
He said that concerned departments and institutions should perform their duties efficiently for foiling the nefarious designs of the enemies. He directed that senior police and administrative officers should supervise security arrangements made for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and Christmas and implementation of the security plan evolved for this purpose should be ensured.
The chief minister said that the routes of Eid processions should be cleared after all out checking and these processions should be monitored through CCTV cameras. He further directed that security of churches should be increased and additional police force should be deputed.
