Finance minister briefs PM on foreign exchange reserves
Nawaz says Pakistan is on path to development, following improved security situation

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said that Pakistan is on path to development and the growth rate is increasing following the stability and improved security situation in the country.

Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Senator Ishaq Dar called on the prime minister in Islamabad and briefed him on increase in country’s foreign exchange reserves.

The minister said the country’s foreign exchange reserves have reached $21 billion, adding that the foreign exchange reserves in State Bank have increased to $3 billion.
