Sindh invaded on law, order pretext: Asif Zardari
DUBAI: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Co-Chairman, Asif Ali Zardari in a message on the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto has reiterated that Sindh has been invaded and that all the constitutional principles are being violated.
“But, we will not allow any abuse of Constitutional values,” he said in the statement issued today.
He also asserted that the extremists will not be allowed to destroy the country.
“Insurgents and extremists are bent upon declaring a self-styled Khilafat in the name of religion through illegal occupation of state,” he noted, adding, their agenda is no different from Daesh, Al-Shabab of Kenya or Boko Haram of Nigeria.
He said PPP will ensure the supremacy of the Constitution with the support of the workers and people.
Asif Zardari paid glowing tribute to Benazir Bhutto for what he called her vision and commitment for the cause of democracy and human rights.
