Pak-India foreign secretary-level talks on Jan 15
NEW DELHI: January 15, 2015 has been set for meeting between the Foreign Secretaries of Pakistan and India, Indian media reported.
Indian media quoted sources as saying that Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar will visit Islamabad next month to hold talks with his Pakistani counterpart Aizaz Chaudhry.
Meanwhile, according to Radio Pakistan, Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said during the meeting PM Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi have agreed the two countries' foreign secretaries would meet in Islamabad in the middle of January to finalize the schedule and modalities for the resumption of Comprehensive Dialogue.
He further said major political parties in Pakistan had welcomed the goodwill visit of Indian PM Modi to Pakistan.
