PM’s ‘silence’ on Sindh issue irks Shah

SUKKUR: Opposition leader Khursheed Shah on Saturday complained over Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s silence on the Sindh issue.

Talking to the media here on Saturday, he said that the federal government should come forward to resolve issues in Sindh. He said that extension in Rangers’ power in Karachi was not only the main issue.

The continuous silence of PM Nawaz on giving powers to Sindh province may create difficulties for the Federation as well.

He said that silence of the PM over interference of the Federation into the Sindh government’s issue is a message that he is happy with the steps taken by Chaudhry Nisar to switch over powers of Sindh to Centre.

Shah said that Asif Ali Zardari owing to his health issues may not attend the death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
