Imran for action against corrupt elements in Punjab too
By ONLINEISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan demanded that the NAB should initiate proceedings against corrupt elements in Punjab as well.
While tweeting on social media, Imran Khan said the NAB is strong in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the PTI does not interfere in its affairs in the province.
PTI will welcome if the NAB initiates action against any department in KPK, he said.
PTI chief criticized Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for protecting criminals and corrupt elements. He said the PPP’s hue and cry on Rangers policing powers was aimed at protecting these criminals and corrupt.
Imran added PPP was making fuss over the accountability of thieves and corrupt elements in Sindh by describing it their political victimisation.
